Timing of getting turned down was funny because I got the email right after I was done checking out my plan Bs NROTC unit and am actually very excited to attend that college and love the NROTC unit and the leadership there. Gods timing is wacky sometimes. Just everyone’s friendly reminder to those that get turned down today that not getting into the academy wont make you a bad officer, nor does going to the academy make you a good one. My dad had good and bad officers out of all commissioning sources. Feeling disappointed though is a very real feeling after working so hard for something for four years.
