USNA Class of 2028 Waiting and Speculating

Are most people's portals changing from Pending to CPR? Just wondering because mine changed from "Complete Pending Review" to "Pending". Good luck to everyone waiting
Back in December there was a change from CPR to Pending for everyone with a complete application. When did your changes happen? It appears everyone waiting for an admissions decision has been sitting in Pending since Dec. More recently, a change back to CPR seems to signal an appointment is incoming.

Oh my gosh that’s reassuring! I was wondering if we were the only ones! We are 17 too. Do you know if anyone in our district has gotten an appointment or rejection or waitlist (or anything!)?
I have no idea, I am the only one at my school who is applying to USNA. Did you get nom from Lawler?

How am I still pending without a nomination 😭. I have read the whole forum and have only seen around 5 people who ask about Virginia, their either pending or got TD. I thought I had a strong mind but the waiting is getting to me.

Yes, Lawler and that’s his only USNA nom. We also don’t know of anyone else who even applied so have felt totally in the dark! Glad to have connected to at least one other NY17 candidate now!! Do you also have a DQ?

We fully expected to receive a TD this week so that we can have closure and close this chapter. However, DD is still pending and we have no idea why. 3 from our district are already appointed to USNA. I think she’s handling the pending status way better than me. It has been such a long ride this year and I’m ready to tie up loose ends. Baffled that she’s still waiting after all of the appointments around here.

Lawler is also my only nom, never heard back from the Senators. I also have a DQ, and it says "disqualified" and not "waiver pending", so they haven't even started the waiver process for me yet. DQ is for childhood asthma, but don't have it anymore. My mom told me to write it down after 13th bday on dodmerb questionnaire, and so I got DQ'd. I told them this however and they told me to write it out as a statement and sign it, which me and even my mom did. Yes it is great to connect, I am also in the dark.

Sounds like we are in the same exact situation with the DQ and no pending waiver! I think you’ll be fine with a waiver if they initiate one because they’ll just send you to get the test done to rule out asthma. But it’s definitely frustrating to see that DQ every day with no waiver request. My son did get a waiver for his DQ (prior shoulder dislocation that was surgically repaired) for USMMA so I also feel good about him getting a USNA waiver if he ever makes it that far. Keep me posted, I’ll be rooting for you!! Good luck!

Good luck to you too!

Oh gotcha, my change was early this year, probably January or Feb.

DS was turned down yesterday. Part of the big purge. Disappointed, but glad to have the path be certain so he can move forward. Best of luck to those still pending.
I'm sorry, I know what you are feeling. My DS applied to USNA in 2020 and was TD on 4/14. He was devastated but yesterday I put his Aggie ring on him for the first time and seeing the joy on his face, I knew that he was in the right place for him.
