I can see that your DD/DS was accepted to all 3 service academies. Put yourself in your DD/DS shoes. Knowing what you know about the facilities at USNA, would you have still gone to USNA?
The question assumes that the other Service Academies aren't in similar circumstances. They all have the same budgeting process, West Point has similar, historical buildings, and USAFA is gettig to that age where updates are nececssary (if they haven't been done yet). There is a factor of budgeting priorities, and USAF has reputation for putting high priority on facilities
Ricketts Hall should be open to all. IMHO
That's not gonna happen. My recollection is that Rickett's is the football training facility ?(I must have forgot my yard gouge, and in my day is was kind of a dumpy old out of the way building). If that's the case, it's almost certainly built with USNAAA funds. I do agree that the entire Brigade should have access to the same quality of physical training facilities as the football team, and if I were the Supe , would "encourage" USNAAA to provide the funding to do so. (That could be a whole 'nother thread -- what I would do if I were the Supe !
