Should I be preparing for APFT or ACFT?

Im guessing most people will say "both".

As long as my waiver is approved, I will be starting the 2-year ROTC (prior enlisted) this fall while attending grad school.

I am hitting my training hard right now as I am expecting to have to take a PT test within the next 5 weeks or so. Should I train for PFT or CFT?

Help?

You're right, but PFT has priority as the scholarship kicking in depends on passing that one.

My DS just commissioned and is about to attend ABOLC. No mention has been made about the ACFT yet and he is in Combat Arms.

The APFT is still the test of record right now. I’m sure at some point you’ll take the ACFT once you start but it hasn’t replaced the APFT yet
