Army ROTC 2023-2024 2nd Board

DD just asked me to login at work to see if it was just her… it’s not. “Server Error in ‘/Gateway’ Application”

Anybody here with a 4-year scholarship from the first board, is it allowed/would you mind sharing your stats?
Most of the winners from the first board had over a 1400 SAT/ 32 ACT, my DS was just a tic under that cutoff. Majority do very well on the PFA, 4.0 GPA, lots of leadership and extra-curriculars, with great interviews. There will be plenty with these stats in this board as well.

I would say even higher SAT/ACT scores for winners in the first board. Agree with 4.0s and max or near max of the PFA and very high scores on the interview. With only 300 scholarships given out the cut line in the first board is extremely high.

Oh definitely higher, I just meant that the low end cutoff on the first board looked to be around 1400/32.

Refer to earlier messages - the website is down for the count right now, and probably for the foreseeable future, given it’s the Army.
I am aware, I just hope it comes back up this week, because I am waiting for this letter to include in an update for one of my deferred schools.

If it’s truly down for a hack, I may consider bucking up. We were part of the DODMERB site issue - it took a very long time. No one confirmed it was a hack, just my conspiracy theory. Or, was it an update gone wrong? Not sure - either doesn’t bode well. Look to the current FAFSA situation.

I don't know if it has any significance, but the little square in a square logo reappeared on the tab this morning. It hadn't been showing up for the past few days at least for me.

Good luck to all, I remember four years ago being boarded for all three of the boards and going through this forum all day to see if things changed for people. I squeaked out a three year scholarship on the last board somehow, and here we are four years later in my last semester in ROTC with my air assault wings and first choice of branch!

That's a wonderful story! Congratulations to you! What branch are you headed into?

Yes, it's tough as a parent waiting to hear about my DS. Knowing this delay is increasing the anxiety, but there's still no guarantee of getting a scholarship. Might have to wait now, and wait again for the March board.

Still, I am encouraged by many posts I have seen from people who got nothing in October or January but then were offered even 4-year scholarships in March. So, I would encourage everyone not to lose heart.

I branched armor this past December.

Absolutely don't lose hope, I literally sat through two full boards on this website without seeing any change to my file while everyone else was celebrating scholarships. I sat through pretty much the whole third one until the end where I was offered a three year and couldn't have been happier.

It's a lot of stress but looking back it's super exciting at the same time.

This is such a brutal process! Ugh.
Definitely is! As anxious as it can make us feel it is definitely a little exciting knowing that an hour, day, week, sometime soon we'll know where we stand with our futures (as parents or prospective cadets).

Plus as gg6784 said above, this isn't the last board. One more to go after this one. So if it doesn't happen on this one, there is always another run at it.
