They have technical difficulties. Based on what's been shared here I don't know whether the Army even knows if/when the issue will be resolved.

I didn't even know it was a real technical problem. I thought they just put the site down for maintenance because they had to update all the status pages.

“The National App website is still down. That is preventing new application starts and releasing the JAN Board results.

Unfortunately we cannot release the JAN board until the application site is turned back on. Please know we are doing everything we can while the Army works a solution.

With respect to new applications. The deadline to start a new application has been extended until 4 March 2024. The March board is still currently scheduled for 18-22 MAR.

You never know. I doubt Army IT was working on the problem over the weekend, so maybe they will fix the problem pretty quickly tomorrow. They could also take another week though, so I'm not holding my breath.

Well, the site has already been down for more than a week. So my concern is maybe it's not a quick fix but something more serious. Honestly though, who knows?

In the Army ROTC FAQ from the application site (which my DS had downloaded, so we can still access it even though the application site is down), it says ‘Applicants selected to receive a scholarship will be notified between two and four weeks after the board concludes.’ I realize after past boards it has been faster than that, but 2 weeks would be Feb 9; 4 weeks would be Feb 23.

I think the website will have to come back up for the results to be released. I think that they also send emails after they are released in the portal.
