First off, some backstory. Last year, I applied to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. I ended up on the waitlist for CGAS. I never got off the waitlist, and in reality I'm very lucky that I was not outright rejected as I had no medical on file (I was in a tough spot and chose to enlist ASAP instead...
Do applicants without being offered interviews have less of a chance of being accepted? I'm worried that I haven't gotten an interview yet. I didn't get an interview last year either.
This may be a stupid question, but are there any age waivers for enlisted applicants who are just a few days too old? My birthday would be in late June, and I believe I-Day for U.S. Naval Academy would be on July 1st (or a very similar date). If there is any possibility of getting an age waiver...
I am definitely going to talk to the career counselor about it. As for COC, let's just say some are better than others? I didn't really want to ask a chief because I am looking at going with another military branch, felt like there might be some hostility there because I would be viewed as...
I'll look into hotspot on the phone. Good idea about explaining to the committee at the onset. I was thinking if I was the middle of a question, and they didn't understand, and I would be panicking about what the committee would think. But explaining at the onset paves the way just in case, then...
I'm on a Navy base, my internet is iffy. I have 3 congressional interviews coming up via Skype. I can purchase internet here, but am still unsure of the quality. Also, in the barracks there is always a good possibility of being interrupted, which I think would be devastating for my interview...
I'm hoping you can respond to my message. I am the one who asked if you could put me in touch with someone who came from A School into USNA, or at least someone from Fleet into USNA. Thank you so much.

Here are the questions:
For SECNAV, is this the only thing I have to submit? (Meaning, pgs A2 and A3). I understand there are additional things to submit for USNA, but is this the only thing...
Could you possibly put me in touch with a prior enlisted who came out of A school to USNA, or at least from fleet to USNA? I'm currently in the process of applying and have questions that I can't find answers to. It would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you for your responses. I am currently 21, and this is my only opportunity to apply due to my age. I wanted to PM some of the people above, but I'm new to this and the forum won't let me PM anyone yet. (I'm going to try posting new threads in order to qualify). I don't know if someone can...
I generally agree with the all of the recommendations here. One thing that I can attest to with having started my own club, is providing unique volunteer service opportunities, and incorporating it into the club.
