Nice seeing all the photos of the plebes via the alumni website (https://www.usna.com/photoprogram). Scanning the pictures I think I caught a glimpse of the side of DD's head - LOL.

Curious, are the plebes given any training or advice on how to take care of the white works. Ie pretreating stains, removing ink and so forth?

We had the same fortune. We had found a spot on the red beach where we could see DD march in. (Thankfully some told us which side 29th would be sitting). Happened to be right next to the seats when they were "uncovered". Grabbed two and enjoyed the ceremony.

My research says that it's for plebes who want to leave during Plebe summer. Sounds like its a intermediate step for the plebe to work out if they truly want to leave or if they get assign to a new company for a fresh start.

Not recuited. Just a general question regarding the ranking of the slates.

In regards to competitive slates, if there is a recruited athlete on the slate, do you think the admissions board gives that more weight when evaluating the slate? I would think they might take that into account but I could also argue that it's not considered. Just curious.

My DD has completed the BGO interview on 12/28 and the CFA on 1/5. When should she expect those to be reflected in the portal? The CFA notification seems time critical in case for some reason she needs to take it again.

My daughter has completed the Medical and Vision exams (12/8 and 12/15). Her current status in DodMets "Incomplete". Is there a way to determine if the providers have submitted all the information for review? How long should we wait before becoming concerned?
