Maybe this means that those still waiting are now all on the 'short list' of 150 qualified candidates. IDK when the list is created. Only that it's required. I wonder if the candidates ever know they are on said list and if those on said list are offered remaining USAFAPS spots 🤔 so many unknowns

There is a thread about prepschool. The appointed candidates have until the 16th to claim their spot. After that those spots are released and the final USAFA 'wave' will go out. It will not be a big one. There will be some TWEs too. Then, from what I understand, if there are spots at prep still...

Do you know if the percentage of PS appointments is similar to the academy at this point or is there a larger percentage of outstanding PS appointments?

In relation to appointments overall. Are the majority of PS appointments already given similarly to the academy or is there a greater percentage of PS appointments still pending?

Some PS appointees received a very confusing appointment notification. It appeared they had been appointed to the academy but later received a clarification. Probably due to the new system. -Still waiting here in TX.

There is no 'correct' number. Of the roughly 1400 spaces between the academy and the prepschool the prepschool has avg 200 and the academy has avg 1200 since 2016. Those that know about the list seem to represent roughly 15% of appointments give or take the academy/preschool candidate distribution.

Well here is some hope. Out of 129 on the list there are 10 declines and 18 undecided. The Undecided have until April 15th, roughly, to claim their appointment.

They've already started. Some appointments were made last week and the message was so confusing that they had to issue a clarification notice that their appointments were for the prep school and not the academy.
