From the College Board. Anyone else from Upstate NY or NY in general have this issue?

You have since edited the first post and deleted the 2nd. Good call.

Always keep in mind that when something like this happens, unless you need to IMMEDIATELY respond (which is rare at best), you need to wait at least 5 minutes and think about what you will do while the initial (over)reaction has time to subside.

This post reminded me that most high school students are not familiar with Murphy's Law. I, at least, didn't really understand it in my heart until I was in the work-a-day world, especially as a manager. So although somewhat off topic, I thought I would provide a link to Murphy's Law and it's many corollaries in an effort to help (re-)educate the public.

.

kinnem's corollary: A wise man leaves time in their schedule to accommodate the things that will undoubtedly go wrong.

OP, we had an exchange student have this happen one time. Turns out for him, it was An administrative thing. He had cancelled tests prior, actually walking out of one (he took a LOT of them). Raised red flags I guess and there was a different level look at his test.

NO idea if that’s your issue, but things do come up!! You could always inquire? Although they have provided you communication and information, explaining what’s happening as far as your scores are delayed. Would be more concerning if you had no information.

I didn't take it September 26th, but my friends that did aren't getting their scores for another week at least. I live in NE Florida.

Whenever I think of Murphy’s Law, or just planning ahead to mitigate any possible Risk in every facet of our lives .... I always segue and think of my favorite Tragic stories (e.g. Forrest Gump) , movies and so forth .... or those Eureka Unintentional and Inventive moments in my life that would never have happened if I wasn’t working at frantic pace and being a bit sloppy in my rigorous tendencies. I have a couple Patents that came about this way.

My son is waiting, too. Check out the SAT Reddit threads. A good chunk of the country is still waiting. There is supposed to be another batch release this afternoon. If you still don't get scores, it could be a good thing. Sometimes you've made a big score jump and they just want to make sure all is on the up and up.

I took August 29th SAT, and my scores were delayed as well. I got them about a week ago. You don't need them immediately for USNA. If you need them for a nom, try reaching out to the email provided on the application packet. For my congressional nomination application I was allowed to submit them late after explaining the situation. It never hurts to ask!

I got that same message but my scores came in later that afternoon. From my understanding College Board releases them in batches throughout the day. Are you still getting the message?

Wait your week, and then call the college board. Even though I'm not from NY, I had this problem happen to me last year for the PSATs and I didn't get my score until December because I wasn't proactive. Just give them a call if your score hasn't been updated within a week and you should be fine. If not, keep calling. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.
