Going today to see 13 hours; Secret Soldiers of Benghazi today with son home from AROTC. I read the book by Michael Zuckoff and thought it very good- and makes you proud that our military contains and produces such outstanding individuals. Book is non-political “just the facts mam”, and the survivors lived those facts. In end still left with unanswered questions-why was the U.S. Government-the State Department- not even remotely prepared and why did they reject the updated security requests of the security forces in place? Answers to these questions we will most likely never get.
We all know when a U.S. Navy ship, hits a buoy, or another ship, the Captain’s career is over, and I
understand military experience does not automatically equate to good president. But it does makes me uncomfortable that no matter who wins, in 2016 this country will have yet another president who has no military experience, and no family in the military (and yes I know Sen. Santorums boys are at Citadel.) The disconnect continues to grow.
