2013 Appointments

If I had to choose one thing to know before coming here would be the 7 basic responses and how to report in.

no matter how hard you try, you'll screw up the basic responses when a cadre or two or twelve are in your face asking for them. doesnt matter how well you had them memorized beforehand... i promise :)

8 Days to Recognition?

It seems to me like it would be tough to not screw up when you have to answer multiple people at the same time with different responses! Not looking forward(planning) on having to experience that!
 
I remember reading on usafatoday that the "legacy" class 40 years prior to the incoming class presents the contrails. Since we are 2013, that should mean that the class of 1973 should present it to us. The cool thing about this is that Chesley Sullenberger was in the class of '73. Do you think we will meet him when the class of 73 presents the contrails to 2013? :eek:
 
Wouldn't surprise me - he's turned into a mini-celebrity, and I saw on TV at some conference to help retain more experienced pilots in the commercial sector. He's making good use of his publicity, and yeah, I sure hope he'll be there!
 
loll, yes it will be the class of 1973 but they won't literally give you your contrails. That will be issued to you but it will be dedicated by the Class of 1973.
 
Actually have a countdown on my desktop... A good reminder to get all that "high school fun" out of the way before we head off to our voluntary imprisonment :thumb:
