Once again.....nothing here in OK4. Based on the chatter in the wait list thread, sounds like even news may not be the end of the wait. So happy DS has a NROTC MO scholarship. One way or another, whether through USNA or THE University of Oklahoma, that kid is gonna make a damn fine Marine.

Zip - zero - zilch in AZ 1. I would give a pinky toe to know at this point.

TWE here in Las Vegas, NV. It was dated April 7, good luck to all those still waiting to hear!
 
Nothing here either.
I told my DD to send an e-mail to her BGO and find out about her status.
After serving in the Army for a while I should know how about patience.

adesa, so sorry that you too have received the dreaded TWE. You have joined the rest of us who are in the TWE club. I have heard from a reliable source that only 1 in 4 who were 3Q'd were admitted this year. Those numbers explain why so many highly qualified applicants did not make it in this time. Many are moving on to really wonderful colleges. Some of those will be active in NROTC. Others are moving to prep programs to work on those weak areas that might have made them not as competitive a candidate. Whatever your plans are, we all wish you well!
 
I have this sinking feeling that we are still not going to hear anything by Tuesday. What would the appropriate steps be at that point?

I too think the waiting will go beyond Tues. These last days have been the hardest for us.
 
I thought everyone would know--at least something--by 4/15! Of course I also thought 3'qed principals received appointments..... So guess that shows how little I really know! :cool:
