It is typical this time of year for someone to start an Appointment thread. I remember it was helpful to look back on prior years to see where/when the Appointments were coming from and to celebrate the successes of these kids getting them.

So, feel free to post your screen name as an Appointee or Parent of an Appointee. Totally voluntary but a fun way to see what's coming out of New London.

Hey I have a quick question about appointments my son got a LOA and went for DoDmerb but still haven't received letter of appointment ..I thought they didn't go out yet but I guess they did when did they start to go out getting worried....

I believe they started going out about 2 weeks ago. Have you received a letter from DoDMERB yet, regarding medical status? Not positive, but I would think that you would get a status letter from them first, then, if qualified, you would get the appt letter from USCGA. It took a few weeks between my medical appointment and the DoDMERB notice saying that I was qualified.
 
If you applied early action you will have an answer by the 24th, if you have not completed your DoDMERB and receive an appointment it will be a conditional appointment.
