Yes, I am. Why would I not "seriously consider" the USCGA? It is a great school.

I was selected off the waitlist. I was told that very few people get off the waitlist and I would not hear anything from USCGA until after 5/1.

Imagine my surprise when told I was appointed to USCGA on 3/30.

I was also accepted to Brown, Penn and Yale yesterday.

I apologize for the confusing wording of that question...working at USCGA, I obviously hope you're considering our appointment offer and would have withdrawn your name from the wait list if you were no longer interested in attending this year. What I meant or was trying to ask was: Did West Point require you to accept/decline your appointment prior to May 1st or why did you accept their appointment offer so early if you were still waiting to hear back from Brown, Penn, Yale and all the other schools that you applied to?
