2026 Application Problems

I was trying to work on my Merchant Marine application today and had some problems. I tried to find topics such as the academic information requests and high school profile but could not find these things. Also, I tried to see my status but it kept bringing me to the personal information page on the application. Is anyone also experiencing these same problems? Thanks for reading.

You need to fill out part one of the application before the next sections become available. You will not be able to skip around the application and do it in your own desired order. Good luck.

Another question: Once I submit the first section of the USMMA application, will I be able to edit that part of the application once I submit that part?

You can only edit some sections, like your personal info, activities, and another a few more that I don’t remember. Some of them you can’t change it.

In the contact section, you can enter your teachers information, and the portal will send an email to your teacher four hours after you enter the information.

Maybe it’s too early? Maybe they don’t release it until August, but I’m not sure.

But here are the things that u will need to complete. Literally 80 percent of these tasks are completed by your teachers and counselor

Did anyone have this experience? I submitted my application part I and my three teachers' evaluations were verified. However, when I logged in this afternoon to check the status, it was showing a new application, seems all my records and files were gone. I sent an email to admission office, waiting for their reply.

Same here, I emailed someone in admissions about it and she said there’s an issue and will let their IT department know about it so they can fix it
