2Q Letter?

DS just had what amounts to a 2Q letter uploaded to his portal. It says he is qualified academically and for physical aptitude but that his medical status in undetermined. The thing is DS talked to RC on Monday who indicated that his waiver had been denied. Why would todays letter say that his medical status is undetermined if the waiver had been denied.

Probably because the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. The phone call probably gave the latest information. It probably took some time for the portal update to go through and was started some days, if not weeks, ago. Just my guess though but it fits with the way large organizations work.
