3Q Letters

I didn't receive one, and I don't think it's a standard practice. It should be obvious when you're medically cleared and physically qualified, as they will likely ask you to retake the CFA if not. I think academic qualification is a little less transparent but as long as grades and standardized test scores are good then there's nothing to worry about.

Medical will show up in the portal as qualified, CFA will show as a checkmark, and academics doesn't show up except for test scores and transcript.

Just making sure. I have received a qualified medical status, passed my cfa, and am certain I meet academic qualifications. I saw posts from those applying to other academies about 3Q letters and was making sure I was not missing anything.

Then you should be good. Medical is normally the last step and academics you can't really change. Good Job!

Also keep in mind that being "certain" that you "meet academic qualifications" may mean something to you and something different to USAFA. Each year there are many applicants that are in the same situation, i.e. "certain" they meet some phantom standard of an "academic qualification" but do not get admitted even with a Nom, etc.

Unlike USMA, you will not get a 2Q/3Q letter from USAFA, but would only know you are "academically qualified" for "certain" upon two instances: LOA or Appointment.

So USMA will give you a 2Q letter if you don't meet one of the qualifications?

USMA does gives LOE ( letter of Encouragement) to those who are yet to finish the application. I am not sure if it is given to only those who are otherwise strong candidates. Once the application closes if you are not 3Q, 2Q or any such letter does not means anything.
