Just got off Skype with DS, at the end of this weekend's FTX he and two other cadets were introduced as the battalion's latest scholarship winners. He was smiling ear to ear. Those of you who know his story know that this is actually his plan E, so, if you're serious about a scholarship and a career, be flexible, there are many paths. Nice early Christmas present to say the least! Something tells me he's going to want to go car shopping...

Congratulations! I bet he WAS smiling from ear to ear... and for quite a long time too! That's great news! The money is nice but it's the acknowledgement that counts the most as far as I'm concerned.
