I’ve seen a few people abbreviate years incorrectly, and I just wanted to provide the correct way. When you abbreviate a year, you’re replacing the 20 with an apostrophe, so the apostrophe goes in front of, not after, the last two digits.
i.e. 2026 would be ‘26, not 26’.
Just a little tip, and I hope it helps!

Great tip! Details matter. I often see new youthful members making grammatical mistakes, or their posts appear to be in ‘textisims’. Details do indeed matter. Great job!

I also advise my students to download the free Grammarly app on their browser; both in their phone and on their desktop. It will catch your errors in emails and documents and even some social media postings. Great way to learn better writing techniques with corrective action suggestions. Overtime you learn to not make the errors in punctuation etc., and it can save you from an embarrassing error in an important email or resume.
