ACT question

DS took the ACT twice with the writing portion, and once without. They accepted his math/language scores from the test without writing - but he had already submitted two results with writing scores. They do not count the writing score. However, your nomination applications may require an ACT with writing, as well as any other schools being applied to, so it may be beneficial to take it with writing.

USNA and WP both state it is a requirement. Was at WP mtg recently where the regional rep for WP stated they only need one good score like a 7, 8 or 9. If you get that, he said to take without and focus on the other sections. Have never seen either officially post that. From what you said, it appears USNA does similar. Would recommend you talk direct to admission to get official word direct.
