ACT/SAT SA Deadline

Hello all,

I have taken the ACT 3 times now and I'm not happy with my scores quite yet. I plan on taking it in October and November, as well. However, I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a specific deadline when you can't take the test anymore for the Academies. I understand that the earlier the better but if I submit my scores to the SAs, can I continue to keep taking it and send updated scores? What's the latest test I can take?

I couldn't find this answer on the SA websites.

Your full application — every item — must be submitted by 1/31. There are exceptions, so contact the primary source to be sure.

Yes, you absolutely can send in updated scores before the applications deadline.

There is also the nom requirement. Of course I have no idea about your particular nom source rules. Make sure and check those out.

Might I suggest you also try the SAT? USNA superscores even between the two exams.

The below is directly from the USNA Admissions site. Recommend you re-read the steps for admissions pages.

We will accept any ACT or SAT test that is taken before January 31, even if the results arrive after.
