So I had a low ACT score which the USNA track coach said was keeping me from getting academically qualified for an LOA. However now I have surpassed the standard she recommended and it hasn’t gone into the portal and it’s been almost two weeks since the scores came out. I know I’m being impatient, but the clock is ticking and I’m wondering if USNA would send me to NAPS or reject me before getting to see my new scores. They would no longer give me an LOA at this point, by the way, because every part of my app is done including nomination- it would just be a straight appointment. And, if they were to send me to NAPS and then receive the scores after(they’re significantly higher), is it possible they would change their minds and send me straight to USNA? This is all hypothetical and before anyone comments on it, I do have my plan b and c lined up.
