Ok so when I was about in 8th grade my doctor thought I might have ADHD. He tried me on some meds, but they never took. I have been able to perform excellently for over 4 years with no prescriptions or anything. Would this require me to have a waiver? I wouldn't think so since I have proved to be ok without them. Thanks for any answer.

LITS has asked THE question that you must be able to answer, from a medical "the doctor diagnosed or did NOT diagnose..."

IF the doctor diagnosed you as ADHD and prescribed medications; even if you've not taken them for years, etc., you will have to go through a process to show that you do not require any medications/accommodations.

IF you've not had an IEP in school, have not had a standing prescription for ADHD medications, etc...etc...you will probably be able to be waivered through. (DODMERB will decide.)

But LITS' question is the one that must be answered.
