AF ROTC Enrollment Allocation Results

Yeah. I'm curious as to what it means whenever the words "our Cadre says..." are used. I say this because the only words we ever get from Cadre are official words (aka official email) down from AFROTC HQ.

Lucky. Our cadre never sends us any updates via email.

I have an official update for you all.

On Friday, my Cadre received a "reassurance" update from our region commander. Simply, the email stated that the issue still lies within Air Staff and FY15 accessions. As soon as the Holm Center gets word of their results, they will work as fast as possible to getting them down to Detachments.

Their goal is by the end of this week.

We're only about 5 weeks to when Max 1 would start...

Give AFROTC HQ some credit too...

Take your stress and times that by 10! Budgetary stuff is never fun for any shop in the Air Force this day and age.

Yep. Col. Dunn is getting questioned daily by his Operations staff. They need the numbers and the EAs out ASAP because without them, they cannot put together the flight itineraries and logistical efforts of the entire Field Training summer. They for sure are all anxious and frustrated by this, I'm sure.

Sharpshooter I can definitely sympathize with you, iv lost all my motivation to train. We all want it still though or we wouldn't care when they came out. Just gotta keep on keepin on

Agreed. I posted the same thing a few days ago but inside I'm really hoping for a slot.

Listen guys, we can't lose motivation to train. Imagine how bad it's going to suck when we get to field training. They're going to try and suck all our motivation and morale out of us. I guarantee it'll be worse than this. Just keep pushing, it's almost over.

I know where you guys are coming from. But you all can't think like that. We've fought hard to be where we are at. This is not going to be the last time something like this happens to us. Especially going AD. Keep the heads high, and motivation higher! Remember what's at the end!

It does stink that you haven't found out if you made it yet or not, and complaining to yourself or your buddies is probably expected. However, it really doesn't play very well coming here and *****ing in public. If this is all it takes to question your commitment, I have a feeling you are going to be very disappointed in the military and in life.

Whoa no need for that...

Though the statement above might be a little harsh, take this message away from it:

"If this is all it takes to question your commitment, I have a feeling you are going to be very disappointed"

My personal advice is to take this time to reflect upon what you want out of life. You guys are still young but remember that this is the military that you are joining and this job requires 100% commitment at all times as an officer. You will be sacrificing a lot of time putting the mission first during your young life as a junior officer. Needless to say you will all meet some great people along the way, but commitment is critical.
