AFROTC Application Forms

I am currently applying for the AFROTC HSSP, and I have submitted all the documents required by the application (PFA, Test Scores, Transcript, etc..). However, once my last document was approved, new boxes appeared for me to do. One of the items is entitled "releases and forms" and it has forms that I am supposed to upload such as a mail release form for the Airforce and an emergency notification form. These forms do not seem applicable to my application because I have not been awarded a scholarship (the first board has not even met, correct?). Do I need to submit all this documentation in order to do my officer interview? I really want to make the first board, but if I don't need to get 6 extra forms filled out, I don't necessarily want to. Thanks for all the help!

Waltham88, please share with the group how you resolved this issue. I’m guessing there’s something here folks can learn from.

I just solved my own problem. Dont worry about it!

To @Waltham88 As with any good cadet and officer, you solved your own problem. Now, as with any good cadet and officer, please share with others how you did so, as there are likely others facing a similar issue and could learn from you.

I had the same question a few days ago. It took me a few minutes to see this in the download portion:

"Print and complete the following release forms, making sure you follow the instructions on each form. Bring these forms with you when you in-process at your AFROTC detachment. If your school or detachment requires any additional releases, they will provide those to you."

Key phrase: when you in-process at your AFROTC detachment.

It's strange that they give you an option to upload the files before being rewarded with a scholarship. I assume it's also for you to sign up for ROTC, scholarship or not. Anyway, from what I understand, don't worry about it.
