I'm currently in the Air Force ROTC, Sophomore, but did not get my EA due to my medical waiver still processing. Would I be able to take the upcoming Fall semester off and rejoin during the Spring term (for FTP)? Or do I have to be in the program for another full year?

I haven't had the chance to talk with them yet, but I wanted to check if this was something I could do as an option.
I have definitely seen cadets attend for 2 years, take a Fall semester off, and then rejoin spring semester. However, talk to your cadre. With selections right now, maybe that will make you uncompetitive. Maybe your specific cadre have an issue with it for whatever reason.
