I received my notification for a 4-year type 2 today, and was able to log into the portal; however, I was prompted to reset my password, and now it appears that the "accept/decline" link mentioned in the email is not available at the moment.

I still haven't heard anything either way...maybe this isn't a good sign:( Has anyone else not been contacted yet?

Most likely you were rolled over to the next board - hang in there! DS didn't receive his scholarship notification until April 4th (just looked up when I posted on the forum). The process is somewhat agonizing, but keep working on what you can. Although your senior grades don't 'count', they are expected to be in line with your previous years, or the offer can be withdrawn. Work on your physical fitness. If you've applied to any academies, work on your nominations. Enjoy your senior year.

Is there any advantage or disadvantage in accepting early?
No. Acceptance is not binding. If a better offer comes along you can always accept it and let AFROTC know you will be declining their scholarship.

Thank goodness for this forum! Email went to spam account. DD got a 4 year type 7. Hoping for type 1 so a bit disappointed. Her recent standardized test scores increased a lot; that is the only thing we can think of that kept her from a type 1. (Tech major, 4.0 GPA, 10 AP classes, max PFT scores, Girls State etc...) Any thoughts or experiences on reboarding? She has applied for Army ROTC too and will take the full ride from them if she gets it.
