My younger son knew the LT from flight school, it's a terrible loss to the community.

The Army has released the names of the two pilots killed in the AH-64 crash.

The photo of the LT is taken in front of a Hu-1 Exhibit at the Ft. Rucker Aviation Museum where they have the Flight School Graduations. This picture is like the many that are taken after graduation by family members, I took the same picture. This is such a stark reminder of the the dangers and sacrifice our service members live with everyday. Son has lost three friends to helicopter accidents in less then a year. God's speed to all that serve.

1st Lt. Clayton R. Cullen, of Indiana, and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Kevin F. Burke, of California, both assigned to the 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division.

Cullen was commissioned into the Army from Indiana University in 2015. During his nearly three years of service, he was awarded the Army Achievement Medal.

Burke, who joined the Army in 2007, had twice gone to war in Iraq. During nearly 11 years in uniform, he had earned the Army Commendation Medal once and the Achievement Medal four times.
