Alabama Nominations

I haven't seen anything from Alabama, so I thought I would jump on last year's thread and update it. Here goes:

DS has USNA nomination from AL-07. We are still waiting on the Senators, although we have been told that Senator Shelby will announce his nominations next week, while Senator Sessons (a very busy man these days!) will have his announced by the end of the month.

Any appointments yet? Any updates on Senator Sessions as to when his nominations will be released? In the past does anyone know if the senators notify by email or mail or both?

Rec'd Shelby and then just received one from Senator 2, whoever that may be. Not sure which one.

So you got Shelby and another one as Senator 2? Would that be sessions

Rec'd Shelby for Air Force and the portal states Shelby.

Rec's Senator 2 for Navy but portal just states Senator 2. Navy doesn't put the name of which senator. So i'm not sure which senator it would be bc i'm not sure if Sessions has rls'd his or not.

My son's portal today shows nomination to USNA from "Senator 1", we aren't sure if that is Shelby or Sessions. He also has a nomination from AL-07.

There are other posts about this. I believe "1" and "2" simply note Senate seniority. Longer serving senator is 1, the other is 2.

Shelby states he doesn't double nominate so in my case the 2 should be Sessions since I already have another nomination as well.

Senator Shelby is the senior senator from Alabama, having been first elected in 1986, so he would, indeed, be "Senator 1."

Will nominations for all SA's be released at the same time? Like will Sessions release his nominations for USNA at the same time as USMA? Waiting on a USMA nomination from Sessions.

Thank you very much @Lockwoodarriving, my son is relieved the wait is over and very excited. There is no indication as to which slate he was Appointed under. Not sure we will actually find out.
