Just some quick questions. Are mattress toppers allowed? What are the rules around desktop computers, monitor and sizes if allowed, bringing keyboard and mouse during indoc, and bringing an Ipad. Am I limited in what I can have? for example I bought the computer package. Does that limit me to only that computer? What calculator is most often used and allowed by professors?

For INDOC you should bring only what is on the list provided by KP. For other items as a plebe after INDOC, it will depend on your company and your cadre. Regarding your own computer and iPad, I would advise against it as a plebe. Anything you want to connect to the academy server will have to be scrubbed by the IT department. The more devices you have, the more tempted you will be to do things other than studying. I have never heard of anyone with a mattress topper. As a plebe, you want to blend in with the rest of your class as much as possible. Most plebes sleep on top of their made bed so they can save time and pass inspection. As I recall, there should be suggestions in your reporting package for calculators which often change from year to year. Just make sure you are familiar with the calculator you bring because you won't have any extra time to play around with it once you're there. Good luck!

I am also an incoming candidate! I had questions regarding religious items. I had not read anything in the logging in packet about bringing religious items and I planned on bringing a journaling bible and some annotating items (pens and highlighters) all in a small bible bag. I do not know whether this will be confiscated or not, and was wondering if anyone had any experience or knowledge with this area.

Depends on your company and cadre. To be safe, I would suggest having it sent to you after INDOC.

You should receive, or will receive a copy of a booklet titled Logging In. It outlines the items you can bring and not bring. If you haven’t received it yet, go to Logging In and download the PDF. Review it carefully because it is adhered to quite strictly. Don’t do anything that makes you stand out to the upper class that will be greeting you. As an example jeans are not to be worn on the day you report. Do so and you likely will have several upper class mids “in your face”.
