There have been reports in other threads of the De-Masking of the Brigade. Yay!

In other great news, we received an invite to the 5/26 Blue Angels show to a viewing area. Not sure if the Yard will be fully open, but there are other places to watch it. Life is truly returning to normal.

Ya ... DD just walked into the kitchen and told me. She got an official email a few hours ago. It’s sure great having her home for a few days.

@Capt MJ .... Wife and me have our vaccination cards. Is that good enough for us to walk around on the Yard now, like it’s normal.

Apologies, I missed other posts. And yes, so great to see returns to normal. It’s oddly anti-climatic, unceremonious, and uneventful...sort of reminds me of pushing “accept” after all the months of applying for an appointment. I feel kind of shocked...locally as well. POOF. Gone!!

I wonder if there will be any thoughts of allowing more to attend commissioning?? Or are plans set...so plans are set.

Guilty Secret: I have been known to order a patty melt, with a side of bacon, at the Double T, for breakfast. I love a diner, where no one bats an eye about what you want to eat when. It’s one of those meals for which you have to plan extra PT before and after.
 
One of those singers is singing the Anthem at Preakness Stakes today. Usually they take the whole glee club, but this year it’s a solo 🌟

That ☝️ Glee feature, is an anthem for all...it does feel like an awakening!!
