Seriously,

Just got a call from my DS, entire company in the Gym (@12:45 am). Supposedly alarms went off; at least they had some this time. My DS was one that spent 5 hrs at hospital the last time.

And to think, just a few short years ago, all he had to worry about was a lot of push-ups. "IT" they call it... now they can't even do that. Cannot wait until graduation. I hope my DS can stay alive til then.

Still a "Proud KP Dad" because of DS, not because of facility.:frown:

What the heck! I can't believe they cannot get this situation under control. I am just happy my DS is out to sea. Condolences to those B splitters in 3rd Co. who have to suffer through this stuff again and to their parents who have to continue to worry about their welfare.

Yes the problems have not been fixed

I seem to remember someone directing us to a web-link with an article where the statement was made that the problems would be fixed back in January.

Too bad Secretary LaHood wasn't visiting today - I'm thinking far-ranging strategic planning should maybe take a back seat to not poisoning our midshipmen today?

Faulty CO detector

Per USMMA Alumni Facebook post- faulty CO monitor alarm in Barry Hall in M/N room on 3rd deck. Evacuation and inspection by Fire Dept. No smoke or CO detected per advice of Public Safety this morning. Barry hot water is supposed to be back online later today.

alarm

Thank goodness they had alarms! That's one step better than they had previously!

Let's hope the faulty co monitor will go off when and if there IS co present

CO gas

Since the CO disapated so quickly, it must be the A splitters getting used to the food from Delano. Food on the ships didn't give them the gas.
