Don't be stressed if you don't hear anything this week, or next. After Thanksgiving things will pick up. Just a little insight into the process. Each application packet is reviewed by two admissions officers. They then need to come to an agreement and a staff summary sheet is written. If they can't agree, then a third admission officer gets involved as a tie-breaker, THEN all of the completed, reviewed, and "rated" packages go to the admissions board where they are reviewed again and a determination is rendered, THEN the superintendent reviews each package for final approval, THEN notification is made. It is an arduous process. Patience is key. From what I understand it is more of a holistic approach than the other service academies. I am not in any way involved, I have just asked lots of questions about the two sons I've had apply over the past three years. So today is basically the longest day ever! Haha
Wishing you all luck for good news soon!
