Any Norwich AROTC cadets or Norwich AROTC parents

Curious if there is anyone on here that knows if Norwich ROTC is up and running as far as training for MS1 thru MS 4, especially MS 3 cadets. I saw a youtube from CC and Advance Camp, CTL, internships, and schools are a go so far for summer 2021.

Are the cadets at least getting PT, labs, and FTX in this spring.

Gleaning info strictly of internet, all classes are virtual for the rest of semester and cadets are restricted to the post.

Any info is appreciated.

Norwich quarantined students as they returned after Christmas break. To its credit, Norwich Covid-tested every student twice per week. Not surprisingly the rigorous testing turned up a concerning number of positives. When quarantine stretched into about the third week with no end in sight President Anarumo humanely announced that students could return home for remote learning aot remaining locked-down in dorms. Many, if not most, students chose to do so. As a result PT is on-your-own and labs are remote. I haven't heard if FTX will be offered to cadets who stayed on campus.

From my cadet, here’s what I hear: His Mil labs are currently online and I doubt there will be an FTX this spring. PT is undetermined. It’s currently quite cold in VT, but advance reservations have to be made to use the indoor facilities due to Covid capacity requirements. As so many students have returned home since all classes online, hard to have in person mil labs and enforce PT standards.
