anyone else notice the dodmerb site is down for 2 days already?

maybe it's my bad luck, but it seems that everytime i try to log in the last 2 days, i get the message "The DODMERB Website is under maintenance. This functionality is unavailable at this time." or something similar. is anyone else experiencing this? i've never actually managed to get in :frown:, but i'm hoping to one of these days if the dodmerb site will come back sometime... :shake:
 
The site always seemed to be a bit of a piece of junk, although the concept is great. I know a few months ago the logo on the bottom left changed from BAE Systems to Centech (or maybe the other way around) and possibly with that change this maintenance will actually make the site fully functional.

checked this morning and it is still down. :thumbdown:
 
DoDMERB has run into some IT issues as of late. I know they are working to get it back up as soon as possible.
 
Yes, I've also noticed that the site is down (we check it 2-3 times a day since my daughter is waiting on a waiver). We've noticed that the date occasionally changes on her status, but the status itself does not change. Does anyone know if this means the waiver authorities are looking at things in there? Since she has received her conditional acceptance into the CGA Scholars Prep school program, the date has changed three times, but nothing else. I know the decision is out of DoDMERB's hands, but the waiting is tough. She is in contact with her admissions counselor, but has heard nothing from that camp either.
 
I was informed that the connection of BAE to the problems is incorrect. Because I cannot edit my post, I would like to point out that the web site didn't have any problems until after October.
I think it's funny that they made that message so large. We're so used to seeing crap about login issues there that we disregarded the former small message.

Well this morning, it's back to "The DODMERB Website is under maintenance. This functionality is unavailable at this time. Contact Webmaster copy and paste this email address: webmaster@dodmerb.tma.osd.mil". the only way you know something is happening is the messages change around.
 
I just checked the site and it says Welcome to the new site. But, I tried to log on & couldn't so I've sent an e-mail to the webmaster. I believe it will be a busy day for the DoDMERB webmaster -- hopefully they are there today, a Saturday. (I know from when we were sending our daughter's medical information back & forth in e-mails to them back in January, that at least one person was - we sent several e-mails back & forth one Saturday AM). I've always had a pretty quick & positive response form the folks at DoDMERB, so I'm hoping for the best.

As of 8am EDT on Saturday we were able to login with no problem using our same old login id and password.
