Hi, I am a candidate for the naval academy and i even got my congressional nomination i was supposed to take my cfa and bgo interview this week and i know the deadline is the 31. Unfortunately I have tested positive for Covid yesterday i already emailed my bgo and the officer in charge of admissions in my area do you think there are any sort of extensions because of covid or am i out of luck.

Get ahold of admissions as soon as possible, only they can tell you for sure.

for the CFA I believe you have until Jan 31

You can do BGO interview virtually if necessary.

If you contact Admissions to request an extension, I would suggest you be prepared with an explanation (not an excuse) why you have waited this long to take the CFA. Thousands of applicants have completed their applications and CFA already.

Pro tip- Not directed at OP , and I don't want to be unsympathetic ...but this is one of the many reasons Candidates are encouraged to be proactive and complete their entire application (include CFA) early. Many unforeseen circumstances can happen , including winter storms, illness, injury. If you are a Junior applying next year --start training for CFA now, don't wait until next fall and hope to get it in before the deadline.
