yeah I was pretty sure I had read it would be up in August, but now the website says September.... doesnt lleave a lot of time.. but its all we got to work with. When we were on an admissions tour at the CGA in April the admissions officer indicated that the applications could possibly be up at the end of July.
Yeah that is her intention.. Right after school starts to start bugging her teachers and the princicpal. She also plans to get a letter from the gentleman that runs our church's youth group and from one of our councty councilman, as it was him (a Retired USAF COL) that recommended her for a Youth Leadership program easlier this summer that is given by the MOWW. As well as get her letter from our Congressman.Good luck to your daughter. The CGA is a great place for young women and the service itself is the only one in which women can do every job from Deck Watch Officer to Commandant.
I would urge her to get her recommendations early(english teacher, math teacher, coach); get her medical exam as soon as possible; work on her essay and app. Early action is a good option for her. It sounds difficult but it's doable. Good luck to her.
