Hey everyone, I had a couple of questions for anyone that can answer. Im planning on applying to USAFA next year but Im worried about some of my grades. I go to hs in Canada, so our marking system might be slightly different, but all my classes are about 90-100% range. Im taking grade 12 chem a year early but my mark is only at 89, and I'm not sure if it will go up higher or lower as the year progresses. In May, I have an option to drop the class and do it again next year with the rest of my grade (USAFA won't see I originally took it) but I don't know if it's worth it. Would an 85-92% be good enough for USAFA or should I consider dropping the class and trying again next year?

Also, does anyone recommend any programs I can get involved in that would boost my application? Right now the main thing I have going is my private pilot's license and that I'm in air cadets, plus a couple of school clubs, but I'm worried that too generic for USAFA. My fitness levels are alright, but definitely not amazing compared to future USAFA applicants. Just looking for programs/advice that I can apply to and get involved in since my application is due this year on Dec 31! Any advice is appreciated :)

It's never too early to start training for the CFA. Doing really well on the CFA can balance out a lack of sports on your resume. Also, try to highlight leadership roles in your clubs!
