Appointment question

Principal nomination to 3 service academies. My application is green and as far as I know, all qualified, have not heard otherwise. Received appointment from West Point right away and have not heard from the other two yes or no. First choice is USAFA so anxiously awaiting. Any thoughts on if principal counts or not? Thank you!
 
I’ll be interested to hear responses on this. My DS is also principal nom and nothing so far. He only applied to USAFA. Hopefully we all hear something (at this point anything) soon!
 
Congratulations! USAFA seems to have their own timeline for admissions, the waiting is very frustrating but there are still many appointments that will be given out. Sometimes USAFA stretches into May with their appointment offers....so remember, no news is good news :) Hang in there!

Just curious if you have gotten an appointment yet?

That makes me feel a little bit better considering I've heard nothing as well. That said, I'm on an unranked list and have heard a USAFA appointment has been offered in my district. Hopefully, your case is better than mine and it is just admissions being slow. Good luck with his appointment!

If you get a late acceptance, that date for you is subject to change. If I recall correctly, someone not too long ago got appointed 2-3 days before I-Day, some people only a week before in processing. Good things come to those who wait!

Acceptance deadline for USAFA? They will allow you time to consider even if the acceptance is close to or after 5/1
 
Just an update for all of you still waiting… my DS reached out to his MOC today and they have not heard of any appointments from USAFA for his district as of yet. They said they would reach out and check with admissions but for our district it has been June before hearing of appointments in past years. The thought of waiting till June is terrifying but DS was glad to hear there’s still a chance for him this far into the admissions cycle.
