Are JV/minor letters noticed?

I'm a JV freshman on both my swim and track/cross country team. Would JV letters help me in applying to USAFA? Thanks.

I believe there was a section to mark if JV. I know I put it somewhere on my application. If not, when you go from JV to Varsity (like I did) it shows improvement which they like to see, but we can't be sure as we're not USAFA
