There is a threat in the ticket exchange of about 500 requesting tickets. I’m just curious of what the price will be and if they can be purchase anywhere else. Or is people going to sale for face value? Sone say there will be enough tickets right after thanksgiving but I’m a bit concern because if so many looking for them

There are always — always! — plenty of tickets on the secondary market. I’m a fan of StubHub, but there are other websites and the prices are similar. This is the true market at work, so you’ll pay true market prices. But always an abundance of tickets until game time.

The ticket exchanges run on behalf of mid/cadet families (I believe on Facebook) seem to have more benevolent pricing. That is, face value or close to it, in acknowledgement that “we’re all in this together.” The catch is that the seating-location variety might not be as good.

Either route you go, there’ll be no shortage of available tickets. Have fun!

Thank you I just checked again and the messages in the request thread had risen to 800s. It says tickets were released yesterday so I’m hoping people will start selling soon

I think it’s a little tough this year, as the venue is smaller.

Are you a Mid parent? Make sure and remind your Mid to put in for their allotment of tickets, every year. It comes as an email offering to them. Limited amount, and when they are gone, they are gone. My Mids know to grab them ASAP, not even checking with mom if we are attending. If we don’t, we can always sell them (as mentioned).

Check the places MidCake mentioned. Also try your Mids company pages, and state parent groups. It always seems to work out, I’ve not heard of someone not being able to attend.

BTW, nosebleeds are their own kind of fun!! One year, we were ONE row from the top. Bonus is you get a better view of the flyover!!

Thank you very much. Yes venue is smaller

FYI - I am hearing Hotels are canceling reservations in Mass due to being used for migrant housing. May be more tickets available than usual.

Absolutely. we may even be able to see the top of the rotors this time.
I *actually* ducked one year. It was a reflex, but not one I would have had if not for the upper ring.

Closer. Louder. Bigger. And you can smell them.

It’s kinda cool 😎

tickets last year were 20 rows off the field at the goal line, this year they are way up at the top of 300 level close to midfield, same donation level as last year.

ticket office tells me there was a big increase in high dollar doners this year, combined with smaller stadium, pushing people higher

anyone else seeing this?

I have seen that all over parent groups.

Yes sort of.... I have season tkts (20 yrd line 23rd row at NMCS) and a B&G donor. Last yr I was able to get 20yr line 8 rows from top of Linc plus an added 11 upper deck endzone (we're a Philly family).

This year 1st row 304 (top deck) kind of an improvement, but no additional tkts granted and was told big doners picked up many tkts.

The stadium is not much smaller than last year. The biggest difference was from 2021 to 2022.
Gillette Capacity 65,878
Lincoln Financial Capacity (Philadelphia) 67,594
Met Life Stadium Capacity (New York) 82,500

I am experiencing the same thing. Donated more this year but have crappier seats than Philly. 20ish rows back from the field in Philly and section 204 this year. Corner end zone. I know people donated more to help get access to Navy Notre Dame tickets too. Might be some of what drove it.

I just put 4 tickets up for sale on Stub Hub. Still seems to be a lively secondary market

I do t understand why people is not buying through Ticketmaster or stub hub or whatever? There is nothing wrong with that. We do it all the time for concerts and such

There isn’t. Individuals should get what they can should they decide to sell - it’s a temporal event in high demand. Tickets, like houses, will sell for what they are worth at that point in time. It’s just unfortunate with tickets that the face value is at best a lie.

Tickets are never priced initially at their real market value. So people get pi%%ed dropping a grand for Swift tickets or A/N tickets. If they were priced that way from the beginning, people would pay if they thought it was worth it to them. Instead, you’ve got a lot of angry people who just feel ripped off. It’s fantasticly annoying.

On the plus side (tho mostly for jam bands) there are sites like cashortrade.org that are trying to inject fair market value into ticketing.

Noticed some posts above about bigger contributors getting better seats. Of course! That’s how it works. But there is no transparency about how it works.

And I want to state very clearly - not picking a bone with USNA, the athletic association or anything related. Honestly I hope they are getting as much cash as they can out of the scam that is ticketing.

Source - promoted concerts in college and after in the 90’s. What was a business of manipulation then has just gotten so much worse. YMMV but TickPick seems to be the best “real” market value in an incredibly gamed playing field.

Edited to add - know why Taylor dumped a million tickets on her tour in a day? To pump up the value and to blame Ticketmaster. Highly suggest you listen to Bob Lefsetz’s podcast with the founder of TM. They basically exist to take the blame and make the artist look good. For a flat 2.5% of face. All those other fees? To the act/sport. It’s such a scam.

Best realistic response. Thank you
