Army Reserve/NG Drill weekends

Good morning all:

Can anyone explain to me what a normal drill weekend looks like for a Reserve/NG officer right now? I have aspirations to be a Military Intelligence Officer in the Reserve/NG, and want to get some insight on what a normal drill weekend looks like.

Can’t really tell you what a “normal drill weekend” is like because each unit is different and it is going to depend on what the scheduled training is. You may be maintaining equipment, conducting classroom training, or going to the range and qualifying. Have you asked any of the SMP Cadets in your program what their drill weekends are like.
