Army ROTC 2nd Board Results!

Previous posts have indicated that candidates went from B/UC to Boarded to Winner - but who knows if that’s always the case, especially this cycle where we already saw the school of intent locking to be different.
Yeah I would say don't get your hopes up but its entirely possible it still is a good sign.

I agree with this statement. My friend had almost identical stats to me (maybe even better) and he stayed B/UC while I went to Boarded. This could just be nothing.

The results have been posted to the database. The official notifications and portal update to winner should occur within the next few days.
So for those who are not "boarded" does that mean we go to the next board or is there still hope for this board?

Maybe you guys who are boarded already are 4 yr? Those of still waiting maybe we're 3 yr?? Still praying...

Each application is only boarded once, then added to the overall OML. All applications that were complete after the 1st board, but on time for the second were boarded by the 2nd board. However, it takes time to update everyone's status. If you were not selected for scholarship when you were boarded, you still have a chance at a scholarship as where you fall on the OML determines if you receive a scholarship, not when you are boarded.

Oh I think I understand. So everyone who are still B/UC was that way since the first board... Since you are only boarded once. So that means that everyone who is Boarded is boarded by the second board, rather than the first. But there is no indication of who will be getting a scholarship just yet.

(I’ve read so many past threads that I think I’m going cross-eyed, so I’ll just come out and ask).
So “each application is only boarded once”, is that what BOARDED means? And is BOARDED a good sign or are we getting our hopes up for nothing?

(edited to add that my DD didn’t complete her application in time for the first board, so this is her first shot).

If you're B/UC, the thought is you weren't selected. If you were moved to Boarded, which is entirely different status, the thought is you were selected.
