I was boarded on the first board but wasn't awarded a scholarship so my status has been boarded/under consideration. I was talking about the phenomenon I read about where going from boarded/under consideration to boarded after the second board could indicate you have been chosen for a scholarship. (it is all theory though. just very excited!!)
 
My son just received an email from the Army recruiting officer at one of the schools on his list and it states:

"We expect to hear the results from the scholarship selection committee before too long. I sincerely wish each and every one of the best of luck wherever you decide to attend college.

If you receive an offer, the scholarship will be either a 4 year or a 3 YR AD. The four year scholarship will begin this coming August of your freshman year. The 3 YR will begin in August of your sophomore year. The scholarship will provide:
Tuition and student fees for the length of the scholarship paid to the school of your choice OR pay you $5,000 per semester for room and board. If you choose R&B, you will be responsible for tuition.
$420 per month stipend that begins when your scholarship is activated
$600 per semester for books that is paid to you."

Maybe this is a good sign that things are going to start happening soon! Best of luck to all!

Good news! Curious on your DS stats if you don't mind sharing. Also, has anything changed in his application yet?

33 ACT, 4.6 GPA, AP Calc, etc... Eagle Scout, Boys State, XC all 4 years, NHS, MU Alpha Theta, debate team, and I'm sure there's more that I can't think of.

His portal changed to "boarded" today
