Army ROTC 2nd Board Results

nothing changed for me either. I really thought I had it this time, but I guess not. At least this wasn't on Super Bowl weekend and I'll try to enjoy that day. Congrats to everyone who made it!!!

Is 1330 SAT ,4.1W/3.8UW GPA, and team captain of multiple teams scholarship worthy? I also thought my interview went pretty well. After these two boards and seeing my friends get it I’m a little worried.
 
Remember that 3rd board still has lots of scholarships to give! You are still in the game. It most definitely isn’t just your “stats” but if your stats are good, then your chances are still VERY GOOD!
 
Don’t give up! Some scholarship recipients won’t accept their awards - they will get into a SA or another ROTC (AF or Navy).

It typically does not work that way. Big Army has a good idea about how many awarded scholarships will be accepted. If a candidate declines a scholarship it does not make that scholarship available to another candidate. Each year the recruiting goals are different and that is factored in to the number of scholarships awarded.

To add to this idea, instead, go attend the school you wanted to go to with an ROTC unit and work your tail off in the program. You don't have to earn a scholarship out of high school to commission as an officer. Don't let this rejection dictate your future success (or lack thereof). The answer is not yet, not a Never.

I can't guarantee anything, but I can say that your stats and mine are somewhat similar. Obviously, I can't directly compare our situations, but I wouldn't give up hope yet.

oh thanks haha. Looks like my hypothesis was incorrect. Most likely did not get a scholarship. very bummed out and to be honest not confident for getting the 3rd board. I wish I knew what pushed me to not get one for first two, but who knows I guess

Don't give up hope. DS waited through the same thing last year with 2nd board. He was awarded a 3yr AD on the 3rd. A 4 or 3 on the 3rd is worth the same as the ones on 1st or 2nd.

There might be a small thing that would impede me form getting it? My academic tab has a yellow on it even thought I finished everything and I'm not too sure why. I asked in SAF and they said it might be a glitch and it's fine and I did get boarded so I'm not sure why. Imma email CC to make sure that everything is finished and ready for 3rd board I am unsure but a tiny bit hopeful

Yeah that tab is green for me. It should have turned green when your counselor confirmed your information.
