Army ROTC 3rd Board Results...

Congrats to your daughter! What a wonderful accomplishment! Just out of curiosity, if you don't mind sharing, what were the #1 and #4 schools that were skipped? Just wondering if those are "popular" schools (though every school is popular this year with the high volume of applications across the board).
Her #1 is Embry-Riddle Daytona and #4 was Texas A&M

I'm assuming all schools have not received their lists yet and that is why some are still boarded/UC?

Would it be a safe bet that boarded/under consideration didn't win a scholarship at this point?

Congrats to the winners!

If you didn't receive a scholarship... don't let it get you down. I know scholarship cadets who are fantastic, and I know scholarship cadets who can't be bothered to show up to PT 3 days a week.

Case and point, if you received a scholarship or didn't, work hard. When you commission no one's gonna care if you got a leather-bound certificate in the mail. They'll care about how good of an officer you are.

This is only the beginning, get ready to start working. :)

Sage advise as usual. How are things in Oxford?

Would informing the school's admissions office of a scholarship, this late in the game, have any bearing on a decision?
