My DD was at Knox last year, 9th Reg. I don’t miss that at all. That was rough for me, but she did well. This year I get a difference experience with my DS at NSI but I’m sticking my nose in here because go Army!

My daughter’s boyfriend goes in couple weeks, 5th reg I believe. I’ll probably have to go to graduation since we live so close and his family is many states away. Maybe I’ll wear my AF shirt

Have you asked your DS/DD? I can ask mine but it might vary from Platoon to platoon not sure.

He’s not there yet. I was just hoping to send him with lots of items. He’s hesitant to ask for anything. I’ll have him ask a buddy.

3. Metabolic enhancers, stimulants, and creatine supplements of ANY kind are
PROHIBITED and will be stored for the duration of CST. You may bring healthy nonperishable,
pre-packaged snacks such as protein bars with you to Fort Knox. There will
also be time and facilities available for local purchase.

I am planning on driving to my sons graduation from advanced camp. Will he be allowed to drive home with me rather than fly ? Anyone have any experience with this ?

We drove ours home right afterwards. He'll need to let them know. The HRA I think? They even recommend at the family day presentation to load their gear that night when you bring them back so you can hit the road right away. His graduation was shortened because it was moved indoors for weather and we were on the road before 9.
