Yes I did, the ROO actually reached out to me after I got my scholarship and he told me that they would be fighting for me and advocating in my behalf to admissions but there was no guarantees. I still wholeheartedly believe the only reason I got in is because of my scholarship

Congratulations! You will love it there. 10 years ago my DD was in the same situation and we think her getting the NROTC scholarship early, and the advocacy on the part of the ND NROTC program, tipped the scales to get her in.

Great to hear! Notre Dame checks all the boxes for me for a "regular" college. Great academics, great athletics, strong military ties, and outstanding ROTC programs. If I receive an appointment to a service academy I think it'll be a tough choice...

We are still waiting for the second round. My son is a first round 4 year winner with NROTC for VMI.
