I have two main questions about requesting an AROTC scholarship to a different school
1.) How long to the usually take to process?
2.) Do they actually tell you if the request to transfer your scholarship is denied? Or do you just have to guess after a while that they didn't approve it?

1. Of course they inform you.
2. For most, lately, its been done in a few days.

Just curious if you’ve heard about your transfer? It sounded like you a my DS both requested with this final board - we did not hear this week and am a little anxious.

My daughter’s transfer took 5 business days.
Sent last Friday, appeared as received on Monday and was notified that the scholarship was transferred today.

Was she notified with an email or did her status page just change to reflect the desired school?

To everyone asking my transfer was approved two days ago (the 9th). I received no notification other than my portal changing.

Thanks for everyone’s input - transfer went through and was accepted at exactly 5 days!.

My DS uploaded his transfer request/required docs and they were approved on 3/28, but still no word on his request for transfer. He sent a note through the "contact us" at the end of last week following up. Any other ideas on timing or who to follow up with? The ROO at the school he is transferring his scholarship to confirmed he did it correctly, but that is all.

My understanding is that transfers can sometimes take a while to process (depending on the school). I'd wait at least another few weekdays before trying to contact anyone. One ROO I talked to said most of the time transfers are simply a matter of time and that as long as the applicant was accepted into the school to which they are trying to transfer, they will get the transfer. He also said sometimes it can take at least a month to process.

PS. I also sent an message through the "contact us" page and never ended up receiving a response.
